Katie + Kirk, Fort Wayne Indiana Wedding

I have been on pins and needles for Katie and Kirk’s winter wedding since I photographed their Foster Park engagement session in June. Hearing about the wedding dress, the decorations, and bridal party colors literally made me giddy with excitement.

Also, to say that Katie and Kirk are the nicest people is a drastic understatement. I’ll say it anyway because they are the absolute nicest people. From getting ready at the beginning of the day to the party at the end of the night, both they and their bridal party were so inviting just downright awesome.

As I was going through their wedding gallery trying to decide what photos would be in this post, it was proving to be a daunting task. I truly could have crammed every single photo in here if I wasn’t concerned about breaking the internet (Kim K., watch out).

Out of all of the thousands of photos we took that day, my two favorite photos are the moment right before Kirk sees Katie, and the second he sees her walking down the aisle — to see that look and his jaw drop still makes my heart jump and my eyes swell with happy tears.

Katie and Kirk, thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your special day and I wish you both all the happiness in the world! Introducing, Mr. and Mrs. Howlett.
